Different Uses for Travel Size Products in the Workplace

Most people prefer the convenience travel size products provide because these items do not take up much room and are easy to store. For example, you can keep a small bottle of mouthwash, a small tube of toothpaste and toothbrush at work to brush your teeth after lunch or after snacks. You might keep a stock of energy shots on hand to help get you through the afternoon. The types of items you keep at work are all able to fit nicely and neatly into your desk drawer.

Another useful application for travel size products in the workplace is to stock a selection of products to have available for any of your employees who travel on a regular basis. You can provide these to you sales people and other employees so they do not have to worry about packing full-sized items and having to check a bag whenever they fly. You may decide to make up your own travel kits, ahead of time, by placing items into one-quart zipper bags to satisfy TSA and FAA travel guidelines for carry-on aerosols, liquids, and gels.

In addition to stocking products for your traveling employees, you could decide to make them available to your customers, clients, and others visiting your location from out of town. For instance, if you offer onsite training courses, some of the attendees may have forgotten to pack some needed toiletries. Depending upon their accommodations, they might not have a car or the ability to go to a store and buy the items themselves. You can either give them to your course participants for free, or sell the products and earn a small profit.
